Cathay Pacific Misspells Own Name on Jet

What’s in a name? Cathay Pacific Airlines debuted its newest plane with a slight glitch. The letter “F” was omitted from the word Pacific. The new plane rolled out branded Cathay “Paciic”. Cathay Pacific delivered a message on social media after being mocked for the error. “Oops this special livery won’t last long! She’s going back to the shop!”


Pilot Forgets to Pressurize Plane

A Jet Airways flight traveling from Mumbai to Jaipur, India returned to Mumbai for an emergency landing after 45 minutes in the air. It seems the pilot forgot to turn on a switch to pressurize the cabin causing bloody noses and ears for passengers. As a result of his mistake, oxygen masks began dropping. 30 out of 166 passengers experienced nose and ear bleeding and others complained of headache. The Boeing 737 landed safely with only 5 passengers referred to a hospital for additional medical treatment. No one was seriously injured and the airline is fully cooperating with an ongoing investigation.
